German WW1/WW2-era C.P. Goerz binoculars & leather case, Deutsches Reich Patent. Serial # 3227. C.P. Goerz was a notable Berlin optics manufacturer of small, very powerful prism binoculars. DRP refers to Deutsches Reich Patent. Barrels are covered in faux leather, in good condition. Center focus is in working condition; each eyepiece has fine adjustment. Lenses crisp & clear. Leather strap pliable. Small touch-ups on black exterior. Leather case in good condition except for tiny front abrasion. Elastic strap locks top of case, which is stamped “Made in Occupied Japan.”
